About SoftNest

SoftNest is a small, independent catalog of useful Windows software. Our goal is simple: help you find good programs and download them safely, without fake download buttons, bundled toolbars or repackaged installers.

How we work

• Official downloads only. We do not host or repackage installers. Every Download button takes you to the publisher's own website or official release page.
• Hand-picked titles. We list well-known, actively maintained programs — many of them free and open source — rather than thousands of random files.
• Versions checked against official sources. We compare version numbers with publishers' official release channels and update listings regularly.
• Clear licences. Each program is labelled Free, Trial, Paid or Subscription so there are no surprises.
• Independent. We do not accept payment for listings or reviews.

Found an outdated version, a broken link or a program we should add? Let us know.
