Lightweight free 2D CAD for technical drawings
LibreCAD is a free 2D CAD program for floor plans, technical drawings and schematics. It offers layers, blocks, snapping and dimensioning, and starts quickly even on older computers.
It works natively with the DXF format. It only handles 2D drawing and has limited support for DWG files, so anyone exchanging DWG drawings daily should test their files first.
