OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software) is a free, open-source program for screen recording and live streaming. It is used by YouTubers, gamers, teachers and businesses to record tutorials, capture gameplay and stream to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook and other platforms.
OBS works with scenes made up of sources: your screen, a single window, a webcam, images, text, browser pages and audio devices. You can switch between scenes live, add filters such as noise suppression and chroma key (green screen), and mix multiple audio tracks. It supports hardware encoding on NVIDIA, AMD and Intel graphics for smooth recording with low CPU use.
