CrystalDiskInfo reads the S.M.A.R.T. data from hard drives and SSDs and shows a simple health status alongside temperature and usage hours. It can warn you when a drive starts to fail, giving you time to back up your data.
It is small and free. A good status does not guarantee a drive will never fail, so regular backups are still essential.
